The end is near... sometimes I think about December 21 2012. The day that the Mayan calender predict the end of our world. I think it is not true, but there is a little doubt in the back of my mind. I must think about this because of an article of Bas PE4BAS on his blog. I put this cartoon before on my blog some time ago.

Hi Paul; maybe the Mayan government no longer wanted to subsidize the calender carvers union.
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, WW3 may be brewing in the Near East. Wouldn't surprise me to learn Israel launched a few Nukes. A far right/religious government with the means.
Hi Dick, well I do have concerns about the situation in the Middle East also. I hope Obama can cool down the situation. 73 Paul
73 Paul
DeleteHello Paul,
ReplyDeleteI'm with Dick.... I wonder how Noah managed to load penguins and polar bears on the Ark. They would have been tough to find in that part of the world.
Nice "de-bunking" of the Mayan end of world myth here: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2011/12/111220-end-of-world-2012-maya-calendar-explained-ancient-science/
ReplyDeleteBut, perhaps the Mayan's also had time travel (since the could see the future, why not?) and traveled ahead in time to plant that article in National Geographic...
