My computer is back on duty. My hard drive crashed 2 weeks ago. Now I have a new hard drive. I have installed most important software such as: Fldigi, JT65-HF, WSPR and Dimension4. My only browser will be Chrome. Now I can manage my logbook at qrz.com again. Everything is running smoothly again now all is installed. So I am back.
Welkom terug Paul. Heb je nu een beetje snellere HDD of is er geen verschil? Het is ookwel eens mooi helemaal fris te beginnen met een bijna lege harde schijf. Maar persoonlijk houd ik alles liever bij het oude. 73, Bas

DeleteGood morning Paul, welcome back....did you happen to have things backed up on the crashed drive?? I had a drive crash once and I vowed to back things up to make it a simpler next time.....have not backed anything up at this point. I am a hard learner I guess.

Hi Mike, a crash appears most of the time suddenly. I got signals that something was wrong with the hard drive. I expected that soon the drive would crash. I do make every month a back up. I lost a few things but nothing really important. I do have an external hard drive for back ups. 73 Paul
