Did some psk31 on 40 meter. I worked UR7CT from the Ukraine. My first hop landed always in the Ukraine. I worked many, many Ukraine stations in my life time as radio amateur. I was reported by WB2YDS, N8YSZ and K8SA. With JT65A WØPSK from Topeka, Kansas, he came back for me but was lost in the ssb QRM. I heard also N9VPR and N4UPX.
Sometimes I watch a movie with the XYL on the couch. Do you know what often happens?
I love the comic, since I know quite well how he feels ^^. Seems to be quite common ...
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm always envying you for your contacts. I'm living in a flat without balcony and am still struggling to get an Antenna working (that doesn't recieve more QRM than Signal).

Over de call PH0TO moet je maar eens goed nadenken. Ik vind de prefix PH, in het Nederlands, een ramp.
Fonetisch klinkt het niet lekker, PH of PA.

ReplyDeleteHallo Tjeerd, je raakt toch een beetje gehecht aan een call. Dan zit dicht bij mij. Zit je voor studie in Schoorl? De dichts bij is de tijdelijke repeater van Heerhugowaard. 430.225 / 431.825 MHz. PI3HWD. Dan kom je ook tegelijk op 2 meter uit 145.625 MHz. Er zit geen delay op en pieptoon, dus als je de repeater gebruikt meteen kletsen, want anders valt ie af. Er zit er ook een in Alkmaar PI2ALK 430.375 maar daar heb ik nog nooit iemand op gehoord. 73 Paul
