I made a QSO with IK2DJV with 0,5 watt JT65A on 20 meter. I will try more QRP with JT65A. In fact the software is meant for weak signals. Thanks to Joe Taylor K1JT. WSPR is really fun to do, only we can't make QSO's with it. So if you want to make QSO's then JT65A is a good choice. This morning I was reported with JT65A (0,5 W) by UA3ARC 2146 km, with WSPR this morning my best DX was LA9JO 1967 km. But this is too premature for conclusions. I think both modes are quite similar, but with JT65A you can make really QSO's. I also worked HB9MGS with JT65A and 0,5 watt on 20 meter. Have a nice day! Wow, I am reported in Greenland, OX3XR 3393 km with 0,5 watt on 20 meter.

On 10 meter are also Es conditions. So here are my 0,5 watt and 1 watt results with WSPR on 10:

Hi Paul,
ReplyDeleteNice set of contacts there, JT65-HF and WSPR always make me smile with their ability to cross so big a distance. Joe Taylor really did come up with something good.
Best Regards,
Steve.
I also like to use the Reverse Beacon Network as well just to see who and were is getting my CW signal.
