There is a hole in my tooth. So I have an appointment today with my dentist. Though, it’s a female doctor, I don’t like to go. She has 50 minutes scheduled for fixing the hole. I demand an anesthetic, that’s for sure. It is no small QRP hole. Oh, my…

This is a nice
Distance Calculator (thanks Paul M6PCZ) I do have worked a lot of the guys I meet here. But the guys beyond the big pond are on my wish list to work. So is Dick N2UGB on the list. We'll have to bridge a distance of 5698 km or 1193 km/watt at 5 watt. One day we will succeed.
Morning Paul, Good luck at the dentist. I have a lovely, sexy, dentist called Monica from Poland and that makes the experience a lot more enjoyable! However I still find I get very nervous. Bye for now, Adam
ReplyDelete@hello Adam, thank you. The girls from Eastern Europe are very pretty, that's for sure. Makes the pain a little bearable. 73 Paul
ReplyDeleteKiezen even op elkaar Paul.

We will do it one day Paul. Have to find a spot on 30M where there isn't a pile-up (good luck to us!). If my dentist looked like those ladies, I'd drill holes in my own teeth and have them filled every week.

I haven't been to a dentist for ...lets see ..er.. oops, can't be .. 20 years! And I still have all my teeth!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I worked Guatemala with only 5 watts :-), and that was using the G7FEK antenna. So I am sure you will do it!

73 Paul
ReplyDelete@Hello Dick: LOL, there is another slight problem, I'll have to go back April 8th. 73 Paul
ReplyDelete@Hello André: Guatemala, wow that's great for 5 watt. On what band? 73 Paul
ReplyDelete@Hallo Bas, mijn kies was niet meer te redden. Ik had al twee maanden pijn. Dus die kies is eruit getrokken. Maar goed, de pijn is nu wel weg. 73 Paul
ReplyDeleteHello Paul,
ReplyDeleteI drove to a 4,000 mountain yesterday but couldn't orient the new 30 meter antenna towards Europe. Worked two station in VERY northern Canada (New Brunswick) with 599 signals. I'll write it up soon on the blog.
Heard a German station (DL3AO) at 599 +++
so know it can be done. Just a matter of being in the right place at the right time!
ps...one of the Canadian stations was also QRP at 5 watts!

@Hello John: indeed it should be possible, I just read that Paul M6PCZ worked a few nice DX on 10 meter. At that moment I just turned off the rig. Aargh... 73 Paul
ReplyDeleteHi Paul,
ReplyDeleteThe TG QSO I had at 5 watt was on 20m at night in July last year using PSK31...
